Another client, who was being seen as part of his probation stated ...

"I am off of probation in a month but I have asked my probation officer if I can keep coming to counseling with you guys because I think it's helping."

Below is an email received by one of our Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Specialist:

Hey, it's (Name Withheld) from recently. I did stand up to jerk-turned companions. Yesterday I told them I had had enough off it, and that I wouldn't stand for being picked on anymore. (Name Withheld) asked if I was, "finally standing up for myself." I said yes, and he then shook my hand and said that was all they wanted. This didn't gain my trust for them, until late today. After staying home sick I was called by (Name Withheld) who apologized and admitted to know the feeling of being on this end of things. He said he'd stand up for me and that junk too.

Thanks for helping me with this situation. Thank you for relating with personal experiences, as well. These things guided me into standing my ground against my old friends. I felt it was really easy to discuss these things with you, and it helped quite a bit.
